“Our buildings and very earth trembled” to be featured on Maryland Public Radio

Our buildings and very earth trembled

Our upcoming exhibit “Our buildings and very earth trembled”.

If you’d like to hear some of the archives materials that we’ll be reading for our program “Our buildings and very earth trembled,” tune in to 88.1 FM (if you’re local here in Maryland) or listen online to Dee Gallo’s interview on Maryland Morning. Interviewer Sheilah Kast asked about the Daughters before and after the Battle of Gettysburg, and Dee offered some insights, also reading several selections that will be used during the gallery talks. The interview will air tomorrow, June 26, at 9:20 a.m. The online listening link is http://www.wypr.org/listen-live. The story will also promote the National Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton’s “Charity Afire” exhibit about the Daughters of Charity and Sisters of Charity.

Plenty of spots are available for all gallery talks and exhibit tours. Use the signup form on the “Exhibits” page of this blog to sign up for a time or call 301-447-6041.
