In honor of Vincent de Paul’s feast day on September 27, the Provincial Archives has mounted a new exhibit which will be on display from September 25 through October 15. The exhibit, titled Celebrating the Legacy of St. Vincent de Paul, recalls, through books, manuscripts, photographs, artifacts, and art, the life of St. Vincent and the work of the Daughters of Charity in carrying out his special charism of service to the poor.

One of the items on display is the drawing seen here, done by Sister Ellen LaCapria, D.C. Vincent de Paul’s face is made up of many smaller drawings showing faces of the poor Vincent calls us to serve.

The exhibit is free and open to the public on Wednesdays from 1 PM to 4:30 PM.
