Mother Seton’s Stone House

July 31 marks the anniversary of the founding of the Sisters of Charity of St. Joseph’s by Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton. On July 31, 1809, Mother Seton and her companions moved into their first farmhouse in St. Joseph’s Valley, today known as the Stone House.
