This was truly excellent and well-researched. The speaker, Dee Gallo, did an excellent job portraying the Daughters of Charity’s crucial role in helping soldiers during the Civil War. The exhibit and tours being conducted in Emmitsburg about the Daughters of Charity’s role during the Civil War beginning June 29th is a MUST SEE!
