Throughout 2013 the Vincentian Family has been celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Blessed Frederic Ozanam, lawyer, scholar, and founder of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul whose feast day falls on September 9. Below is a short list of resources in the Provincial Archives’ collections for the study of Frederic Ozanam and the Vincent de Paul Society. Our next post will touch on the life of Frederic Ozanam.
